Delilah was born in San Diego, CA to her loving mother and father, Ana and Leighton. At the young age of two, both of Delilah’s parents died in a tragic sailing accident offshore. She was then taken in by her Aunt Becky. They moved away from San Diego to Missoula, MT, where Delilah grew up as a dancer. She picked up a job as a waitress at Penny’s diner, working more than socializing during high school. Delilah doesn’t know much about her parents, but has some of their belongings. Ana was fascinated with mermaids and mythology, and had many books on the subjects. Delilah has never seen the ocean, that she can remember, and upon arriving in San Diego feels drawn to the water. She’s never fallen in love before, or dated.

Channing grew up in Los Angeles with their two moms, Sarah and Janelle. Despite being human, Channing has always felt strongly drawn to the ocean. Channing went to sailing classes as a kid, and has been sailing ever since. They teach classes at the local marina in San Diego. Channing is also a charmer, a player, always talking to someone, and everyone loves them. They are everyone’s type. When not teaching sailing classes, they bartend at Joe’s bar alongside Rezzy. Rezzy is a siren, and Channing knows. Channing also lives with a siren named Zan. Channing first learned about sirens from Zan, and was nearly un-phased, always having believed in magic. They know not to ever share Zan and Rezzy’s secret.
ZAN JEREME FRANCO

Zan ran away from home at 14 after a tumultuous childhood discovering her powers. In her early twenties, she fell in love for the first time with a woman named Sienna. This was the first person Zan ever told about her sirening abilities. Zan never sirened her, it was true love. Sienna broke Zan’s heart, leaving her for another woman. This heartbreak fundamentally changed Zan, hardening her heart. She met Channing in San Diego while traveling through California, her first real friendship. After moving in with Channing who was looking for a roommate, she divulged her siren nature, for the first time. Zan has never sirened Channing.
Zan sirens to get what she wants, and seemingly feels no remorse.

Rezzy is a sweetheart, lover, book reader. She grew up in Arizona, and has always maintained a smaller group of friends. She found herself living in San Diego after taking a trip with her family, where she discovered and fell in love with surfing. Rezzy is a siren, and her family nurtured her with the truth of her nature growing up. They always encouraged her to stay true to herself, and taught her that using sirening at the expense of others is wrong. Rezzy tries to siren as little as possible, and focus on real connections. She’s always struggled with love though, and sometimes is tempted to siren. When she first moved to San Diego and started working as a bartender at Joe’s, she had a roommate named Gwen. She was her best friend, and she was secretly in love with her. Gwen moved out shortly before this show starts, moving in with her fiance. Rezzy now needs to find a new roommate for rent.

Karlee has lived in San Diego, CA their whole life. They fell in love at a young age, with their high school sweetheart Jeremy. They first changed into a mermaid shortly after falling in love with Jeremy. Karlee’s parents are both mermaids, and they’ve taught her everything they know. Karlee goes through life uncaught, and becomes an artist living in San Diego.
